Maps Business Collector

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Maps Business Collector helps you collect business information from Google Maps and export it as CSV or JSON. Collected business records stay in your browser. Account and subscription services are processed separately by our service providers.

1. About this policy

This policy explains how Maps Business Collector, associated with leadsbest.org, handles information when you use our Chrome extension and this privacy page. In this policy, “we” means the operator of Maps Business Collector.

2. Information we handle

3. How information is used

We use this information to collect and deduplicate business records, provide CSV and JSON exports, authenticate accounts, send confirmation and recovery emails, manage subscriptions, verify paid access, prevent abuse and resolve service errors.

Free access provides business names; other saved business fields are replaced with a subscription message. Verified subscribers can collect and export full available business details. Relevant Maps responses are processed locally, including extraction before the subscription restrictions are applied to saved records and exports.

We do not sell user data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes. We do not use user data for purposes unrelated to the extension’s stated functionality.

4. Where information is stored and who receives it

Service providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies: Supabase, Stripe and Resend. Providers may process information in countries outside your own. Google Maps and websites you choose to open are governed by their respective privacy policies.

5. Retention and your controls

Use the extension’s Clear control to remove its saved business records. Signing out removes the locally saved account session, but does not delete your account or cancel a subscription. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage; files you previously exported remain wherever you saved them.

Account and billing information is retained while needed to provide your account and subscription, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Provider logs and backups may have separate retention periods. Clearing local business records does not delete account or payment records.

Use the billing management option to manage or cancel your subscription. For account deletion or questions about accessing, correcting or deleting personal information, contact the developer using the support contact shown on the Maps Business Collector Chrome Web Store listing. Some billing records may need to be retained after account deletion.

6. Security

Account and billing requests use HTTPS. Session tokens are restricted to trusted extension contexts, and paid access is checked by the backend. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Keep your device and account credentials secure, and treat exported business files according to your own requirements.

7. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Relevant Maps response data is processed only to support the prominently described business collection and export features. User data is not sold or transferred for unrelated purposes.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the extension or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes to data handling will be disclosed as required before introducing those changes.

For privacy questions and requests, use the developer support contact on the Maps Business Collector Chrome Web Store listing and include “Privacy request” in your message. Do not send passwords or payment card details.
